LIVE: Peterborough United vs Blackpool- Posh take deserved lead into the break

Posh are still only one ahead and have had some openings that should have led to more this half. Need to be more clinical.

Posh looked to have an opening there. Jones robbed Connoly and both him and JCH burst beyond the last man. He cuts the ball back behind JCH though, who fell over anyway while about 5 yards from goal. Doubt he would have been able to gather and shoot anyway, given the quality of the pass.

Good football from Posh, particularly from Taylor and Poku. They force a corner, short to Ward but Ward can’t find a man from his cross.

Poku with the latest chance, makes a strong run on the right. He’s looking to check back inside but the space opens up for him out wide and he goes beyond the man.He shoots with his wek foot towards the far corner but the ball just rises too much.

He’s done it again, so much more time then as well.

Posh come again, Ward blasts a cross right out of play.

Lovely run from Edwards, just fails to find the accurate through all the way through to JCH. Posh started the better after an iffy ending to the first half.
