Kent out
Right, so it seems Fergie has switched it up and will be employing a three at the back. Thompson and Butler as wing backs and Beevers, Edwards and Knight in the middle. One of only 2 ever-presents, Kent, misses out. Edwards will likely be in the middle and will be relied on to start attacks from the back. Ward also misses out as Thompson takes his place and like Bristol City, Dembele and Szmodcis are expected to occupy the forward areas.

Fergie sure Posh will have enough firepower
Peterborough United boss adamant his side have the firepower to trouble Middlesbrough even without Clarke-Harris
Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson is convinced his side have the firepower to trouble Middlesbrough in their Championship fixture at the Riverside on Saturday (October 16, 3pm), even in the absence of powerful centre-forward Jonson Clarke-Harris.
Middlesbrough’s injury list
Neil Warnock resorted to quoting Forrest Gump this week in relation to his woes. He said: “I was watching Forest Gump last night. I thought to myself that’s like my team that. ‘Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get’.
“But I said to the lads, ‘let’s just go and enjoy it.’
“Our chips are down, but we’ve got some good players and it just seems to be just defenders at the moment that are struggling.”
It’s little wonder he’s resorting to fiction as he has an injury list you’d barely believe. Below are the players he is expected to be without for today’s match.
Grant Hall (CB)
Dael Fry (CB)
Anfernee Dijksteel (RB)
Marc Bola (LB)
Lee Peltier (RB) suspended
Darnell Fisher (RB)
Paddy McNair (DM) doubtful
James Lea Siliki (CM)
Sammy Ameobi (LW)
Marcus Browne (AM)
Onel Hernandez (ST) doubtful
Andraz Sporar (ST)
