Key Peterborough United Academy coach has left the club for a Championship post
Jimmy Unwin has left his position as Under 18 lead coach at Peterborough United to join Norwich City’s Academy.
Unwin joined Posh from Cambridge United three years ago and his under 18 side won the Professional Development League Cup in 2025 and also pushed Manchester United all the way in the FA Youth Cup at Old Trafford last season.

Posh Academy director Dan Robinson said: “Jimmy joined us just after I had started here, and has had three fantastic seasons with us. He worked extremely hard with the players on and off the pitch, raising standards and the progression of the players was there for all to see.
"He leaves the Academy in a really strong position and goes with our best wishes and thanks for all he has done for us.
"It is a sign for us as a club, whether it is players or staff who are progressing, that we are being noticed and higher clubs want to take our personnel.”
