Posh were beaten 1-0 in the final group game at the JobServe Community Stadium but still went through as group winners.
There were two young players making that impressed but the rest flattered to deceive, raising questions about Posh’s back-up options.
RATINGS KEY: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4-Awful
9. DONAY O'BRIEN-BRADY
Was making his first start and unfortunately it showed. Failed to get into the game and on the few occasions he did, mostly gave the ball away and in dangerous areas too. 5. Photo: Joe Dent
10. DAVID AJIBOYE
The most senior of the front four but like all of them, didn't show much. Had few opportunities to use his pace and his impact was largely limited to one cut inside and shot from the edge of the box in the second half that went just over. 6. Photo: Joe Dent
11. MALIK MOTHERSILLE
Wasn't involved for large parts as Posh lacked the ball and they did not break with it very quickly. The game rather passed him by until his big moment after an hour when he seized on a great Mills cross only to hit the post when he should really have scored. 5. Photo: Joe Dent
12. CHARLIE O'CONNELL (for Fuchs, 45 mins).
Did a decent job of distributing the ball to teammates as Posh tried to push on in the second half. 6 Photo: Joe Dent
