The temptation must be to go strong in tomorrow’s last-16 Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie against Crawley Town (7.30pm), but I’d still have an eye on the much bigger prize of promotion from League One.
I’d keep just four of the team that started Saturday’s 2-1 win over Shrewsbury.
Top forward Kwame Poku is injured as is young right-back James Dornelly, while summer striker signing Jacob Wakeling is cup-tied.
Ricky-Jade Jones must be doubtful after limping out of Saturday’s 2-1 League One win over Shrewsbury Town.
Here’s my team in a 3-4-1-2 formation...

9. RYAN DE HAVILLAND
The summer midfield signing scored and played well as a number 10 in the win over Arsenal. That should ensure he gets another opportunity v Crawley. Photo: Joe Dent

10. MALIK MOTHERSILLE
I have a feeling we will need the former Chelsea striker before the end of the season so Posh need to keep building up his minutes on the pitch. Photo: David Lowndes

11. JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS
The powerful striker is fit again and Posh really should use him if he stays at the club, at least as an impact sub. He linked up well with Mothersille in the last round of the Trophy so I'd keep them together and rest the first-choice League One strikers. Photo: Joe Dent

12. THE SUBS
Posh can have some big guns on the bench to rescue the game if necessary. I have Archie Collins (pictured), Ephron Mason-Clark, Joel Randall, Josh Knight, Harley Mills, Nicholas Bilokapic and Donay O'Brien-Brady. Photo: Joe Dent/theposh.com
