They are three points clear at the top of the table, they have scored the most goals and they boast the best goal difference.
The good news for Posh and Ferguson is that they would still be sitting atop League One alongside Charlton Athletic if points per game suddenly became relevant again!
Some interesting stats (info from soccerstats.com & @ReportPosh) from the League One season so far...

5.
NO HALF MEASURES: If League One games were stopped at half-time Posh would be fourth in League One, which is surprisingly high given how flat some of the first 45 minutes of games have appeared. Plymouth have the best first-half record. They would be on 23 points (from 10 matches) if games lasted just 45 minutes, followed by Hull (21), Portsmouth (18) and Posh (18). Posh would be top of the second-half table though with 23 points, two more than Sunderland who have played a game fewer. Ipswich (19) would be third. ASSIST KING: Joe Ward continues to lead the League One goal assist charts. He has six to his name and he’s only started nine matches. Hull’s George Honeyman is just one assist behind with former Posh players Harry Anderson (Lincoln) and Gwion Edwards (Ipswich) also riding high in the charts with four apiece. Siriki Dembele has been credited with three Posh goal assists, one more than full-back Dan Butler with Reece Brown, Mo Eisa, Frankie Kent, Niall Mason, Sammie Szmodics and, Jack Taylor all on one. 7.
NO CROWDS, NO DIFFERENCE: The lack of a crowd does not appear to have affected home form at Posh or in general in League One. Posh have won 80% of their home games (4/5) this season to continue their outstanding record from last season when they won 70% of their home matches (12/17). Overall 48% of the 124 League One matches played so far this season have ended in home wins, 35% have been won by the away team and 17% have been drawn. Last season 400 League One matches produced 46% home wins, 26% away wins and 28% draws. Photo: Midlands

FAIRPLAY: Posh are joint second in the League One fairplay table having collected just 13 cautions in 11 matches. AFC Wimbledon top this table having picked up just 11 cautions. Nathan Thompson (pictured) has picked up three yellow cards, the most by a Posh player. Photo: Midlands
