Girls United team going well in ladies football, three wins in a row for Spalding United
Girls United are enjoying their first season in ladies football.
A young team has graduated to Cambs Division Three from the Under 18 League and on Sunday they made it two wins out of two in a league cup competition for third tier sides with a 2-1 success at Deeping Rangers Reserves.

Isobel Turner scored both Girls United goals with Ruby Kirkham-Mason replying for the home aside.
Stanground Cardea Sports and Oundle Town fought out a 3-3 draw in the same cup section. Sabrina Annear, Georgie Newman and Teagan Pulman scored for the city side with Jessie Collins, Evie O’Connor and Sophie Whitworth on target for Oundle.

In Division One Deeping Rangers have drawn all four games so far, but they came within four minutes of toppling unbeaten leaders Fulbourn Institute on Sunday. Annie Smith had given Deeping a first-half lead before the hosts found an 86th minute equaliser.
Spalding United made it three wins in a row in all competitions as they posted a 2-1 victory at Dunston & Broughton United in Division One South of the East Midlands Womens League. Freya Willerton & Sophie Codrington scored the goals.
Stanground Cardea Sports were beaten 2-0 at Northampton Town Development in the same division and have now been overtaken by Spalding.
