Here’s where the ex-men have landed...
5.
JOE DAY (from Cardiff to Newport). Posh years 2011-2015. Since Posh he's played for Newport, Cardiff, Wimbledon and Bristol Rovers. Goalkeeper who made just four starts in four years at Posh, but played well enough for Newport to earn a move into the Championship with Cardiff. Excelled against Posh when on loan at Bristol Rovers last season and now back to Newport on a free transfer in time for a League Two promotion push. Photo: Dan Mullan/Getty Image.

GWION EDWARDS (from Ipswich to Wigan). Posh years 2016-18. Since Posh he's played only for Ipswich. What an exciting talent Edwards was after moving to Posh from Crawley Town, but two fine seasons were both interrupted by injury before he moved into the Championship, and then back into Leagaue One, with the Tractor Boys. Now he's joined big-spending Wigan who are expected to push hard for promotion from the third tier. 74 appearances and 16 goals for Posh. Photo by Ian Walton/Getty Images.

GEORGE MONCUR (from Luton to Hull). Posh years 2016-2017 (loan). Since Posh he's played for Barnsley and Luton. It was a surprise this gifted midfielder's brief spell at Posh was so poor. He scored twice on his full debut, but only started five matches before returning to parent club Barnsley. The man who signed him for Posh, Grant McCann, has now taken him on loan to Hull City in the Championship. Photo: Harriet Lander/Getty Images.

TOMMY ROWE (from Bristol City to Doncaster). Posh years 2009-14. Since Posh he's played for Wolves, Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Bristol City. A star of the Posh promotion to the Championship in 2010-11 when he scored the opening goal in the League One play-off final win at Old Trafford. Wonderfully consistent in his 200 games for Posh (27 goals). Rowe (32) is now back at Doncaster in League One after a decent stint in the Championship with Bristol City.
