I’ve rated all the players who made 10 or more Championship appearances for their performances over the season. There are 22 players who qualified.
Some ratings were rescued by a strong finish to the season.
Ratings key: 10-Brilliant, 9-Outstanding, 8-Very Good, 7-Good, 6-Okay, 5-Poor, 4 Very poor.

5. JORGE GRANT
Championship appearances 26 (21 starts, 2 goals): The midfielder was a key summer signing, but it never really looked like paying off as Posh struggled to find a position for a gifted ball-player. He clearly has vision, he scored two quality goals, but Championship matches appeared to move too quickly for him, in this team at least. 5/10. Photo: Joe Dent

6. DAN BUTLER
Championship appearances 22 (19 starts): A nasty injury ended the left-sided defender's season. He's a game player who gave his all in every match he played, but he struggled against the quickest players when defending and couldn't find the quality when going forward. 5.5/10. Photo: Joe Dent

7. JOE WARD
Championship appearances 38 (31 starts). No goals and just three assists (the same number as Jonson Clarke-Harris) is a poor return for a player who had the pace to find plenty of space down the right-hand side. Worked hard and performed well against the better sides (Fulham home, Bournemouth away), but he could and should have done better. 5.5/10. Photo: Joe Dent

8. JACK TAYLOR
Championship appearances 34 (29 starts, 3 goals). I expected more from this midfielder, but injuries again hampered his performance level. He should offer more in an attacking sense (he wasn't helped by the role he was usually asked to play) and two of his three goals arrived too late to matter. Finished the season looking strong, fit and in good form so that was a bonus 6/10. Photo: Joe Dent
