Ex-Peterborough United boss misses out on Oxford United manager's job

Former Peterborough United boss Grant McCann has missed out on the manager’s job at Oxford United.

Instead the League One side have appointed former MK Dons head coach Liam Manning.

McCann, who left Posh in January, has been linked with the post since Oxford sacked Karl Robinson last month.

Oxford host Posh play-off rivals Derby County on Saturday.

Oxford are due to visit Posh on April 1.
