Earlier this week Wembley winning Posh skipper Mick Halsall reminded everyone he started his career at Birmingham, while Siriki Dembele is a recent addition to the ranks of those who have played for both clubs.
But do you remember these players who also signed contracts at Posh and Birmingham? We’re guessing many are long forgotten!

17. JAMES QUINN
A Northern Ireland international striker who played four games for Birmingham City at the start of his career and 26 games for Posh in the 2005-06 season, scoring seven times. He lacked aggression and pace and can't be compared to Jimmy Quinn, another Northern Ireland striker, who went on a goal spree for Posh aged 37. Photo: s

18. LOUIE DONOWA
Birmingham City loaned this winger to Posh in the 1996-97 season. He scored three goals in 27 appearances. Donowa had been part of Barry Fry's Second Division title-winning squad at Birmingham in 1994-95. Photo: David Lowndes

19. RICKY OTTO
Barry Fry's Birmingham City splashed out £800k for this exciting winger. He had also played for Fry at Southend and later signed for Fry again, at Posh on loan from Birmingham. Otto helped 'The Blues' to that Second Division title in 1994-95. He joined Posh in a relegation season of 1996-97 when he scored six goals in 17 appearances. Photo: David Lowndes

20. NJAKI KUQI
Regularly features in a list of most unsuccessful Posh loan signings. The brother of the more famous Finnish striker Shefki Kuqi moved to Posh on loan from Birmingham City in 2006. He was substituted at half-time on his debut and never appeared again! Photo: PT
