Earlier this week Wembley winning Posh skipper Mick Halsall reminded everyone he started his career at Birmingham, while Siriki Dembele is a recent addition to the ranks of those who have played for both clubs.
But do you remember these players who also signed contracts at Posh and Birmingham? We’re guessing many are long forgotten!

13. BART GRIEMINK
Barry Fry signed this erratic goalkeeper for Birmingham City and Posh. He joined Posh in October, 1996 and mixed some fine displays with some error-strewn ones. He could belt the ball miles out of his hands though! The Dutchman made 67 Posh appearances and lost his place to homegrown star Mark Tyler and moved to Swindon. Photo: PT

14. ARCHIE STYLES

15. NEIL FREEMAN
Experienced goalkeeper Freeman joined Posh on loan from Birmingham City and made 44 appearances in the 1981-82 season. He left after Posh signed a certain David Seaman. Photo: David Lowndes

16. HOWARD FORINTON
The story goes that a Posh delegation of coaches visited then club owner Peter Bozoit and persuaded him a striker they had seen banging in the goals for Birmingham City Reserves just had to be signed. Boizot sanctioned a £275k transfer and it looked money well spent when he scored 7 goals in his first 12 Posh games. Injury then struck and his form tailed off. He scored 10 goals in 60 Posh appearances before dropping into non-league football. Photo: PT
