The PT’s A to Z of a six-month roller coaster ride takes you through the highs and the lows.

13. M is for MADDEN
Referee Bobby Madden came into the Football League from the Scottish Premier League and delivered the worst performance seen in a Posh game for many years at Derby County. He is pictured after wrongly sending off Posh defender Nathan Thompson (left). Photo: Joe Dent

14. N is for NEW STADIUM
There have been encouraging noises this week re progress on a potential new Posh stadium, but local opposition to the proposed Embankment site remains strong. This correspondent would love to stay at London Road for nostalgic reasons anyway, while also appreciating the financial advantages of a move. ‘New Stadium’ is also chairman Darragh MacAnthony’s nickname for Ronnie Edwards based on his perceived transfer value. It’s now a burden as well as a humorous moniker. The Groupama Stadium in Budapest (pictured) is much admired by Posh officials. Photo: S

15. O is for OWNERS
Posh have three of them, but one – Stewart ‘Randy’ Thompson - doesn’t appear to be too involved right now. Thompson and Dr Jason Neale have certainly fallen out as business partners. MacAnthony and Dr Neale have shouldered much of the club's financial burden lately so fair play to them. Photo: Joe Dent

16. P is for PLYMOUTH Argyle
The current League One leaders are the best team Posh have played this season and my wish for automatic promotion, entirely for geographical reasons. Posh centre-back Frankie Kent is pictured during the 2-0 defeat at Home Park in August. Photo: Joe Dent
