The PT’s A to Z of a six-month roller coaster ride takes you through the highs and the lows.

9. I is for IPSWICH Town
The team second in League One are one of many big clubs languishing in the third tier. Eight of them –Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Bolton, Derby, Portsmouth, Charlton and Oxford – have played in the top flight, but the ones I have seen this season would all have been beaten by Ivan Toney’s Posh team. Conor Chaplin (10) is pictured scoring a winning goal for Ipswich against Posh earlier this month. Photo: Joe Dent

10. J is for JONES
Lloyd Jones (6) is pictured scoring the own goal that sealed three points for Posh in the derby game against Cambridge. In a juicy follow-up Posh fans hi-jacked a Cambridge United FC Twitter poll to ensure Jones was named player of the month for the Us! Photo: David Lowndes

11. K is for KILLINGSWORTH
Andrew Killingsworth, a local business tycoon, was linked with one of several unsuccessful bids for Posh to have been made since the start of the season. The current owner of Spalding United FC denied it, but he didn’t rule out a bid in the future. Photo: David Lowndes

12. L is for LATE, LATE shows
In the final 10 minutes of League One matches this season the score is Posh 1, The Opposition 8. In this picture Exeter City have just grabbed a 93rd minute winning goal against Posh at St James' Park. Photo: Joe Dent
