Kent limped out towards the end of Saturday’s 2-0 win over Crewe with a tight hamstring.

But Posh boss Darren Ferguson said today: “Frankie is fine. His scan came back clear. It was probably just a bit of fatigue.

“Keeping your key players clear of injury will be key this season. If you can do that you can flexible with the rest of the squad.

“Everyone is currently okay and their stats from Saturday’s game were very good.”

Posh switched training from this morning to the afternoon to allow for snow to be cleared off the training ground.

Unless the current weather conditions deteriorate Posh are confident the game will go ahead, albeit on another heavy playing surface.
