Posh had their moments as they started and finished strongly at the Stadium of Light, but they couldn’t find a finish against a team who have conceded just one goal, a penalty, against League One clubs this season.

SAMMIE SZMODICS: Bright in the early stages, but struggled to get in the game after the break. A surprise to see him substituted when Posh were chasing the game. 6
10.
SIRIKI DEMBELE: Wreaked havoc in the opening 15 minutes and although he didn't keep that pace up he was still by far and away Posh's most potent attacking threat. 7

JONSON CLARKE-HARRIS: Missed a great early chance, but kept plugging away and almost equalised with a header in the 90th minute. Much more sharpness to come, hopefully. 6

RICKY-JADE JONES (for Szmodics, 86 mins) : Sent on for the final moments and put himself about impressively.
