Peterborough Sports, whose big match on Tuesday has been postponed, handed a derby game in the FA Trophy, Stamford AFC also drawn away from home

Sadly a date for the game cannot be set just yet as step three football clubs are expected to go into from Thursday (November 5) lockdown for at least a month as the UK Government continues to battle the coronavirus.

Stamford AFC have been drawn to play Kidsgrove Athletic away from home in the first round. Kidsgrove and Stamford play in the South East Division of the Northern Premier League.

Sports have also been frustrated by the postponement of tomorrow’s (November 3) scheduled home game against current Southern League Central Premier Division leaders Needham Market.

Teams were given the option of whether or not to play their midweek matches. Sports wanted to play, but Needham Market have decided against it.

Yaxley’s scheduled game at Dunstable in Division One Central tomorrow has also been postponed..

Holbeach United take on fellow Premier Division side Rothwell Corinthians in the United Counties League Cup Final from last season at Blackstones on Wednesday (November 4, 7.45pm).
