Peterborough Sports given a great opportunity to make further progress in the FA Cup

Peterborough Sports have received another home draw in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The city side will host fellow Southern League Premier Division Central outfit Banbury United at the Bee Arena on Tuesday, October 13. It’s the third round in a row Sports have been drawn at home.

Sports are two wins away from a place in the first round proper following a 3-2 win over Stansted in the second qualifying round on Saturday (October 3).

Jimmy’s Dean’s men seek a first win of the Premier Division Central season when hosting King’s Langley tomorrow (October 6, 7.45pm).

Wisbech Town, Stamford AFC and Spalding United are all Northern Premier League action, while there’s a derby in United Counties Division One between Bourne and Blackstones at the Abbey Lawns.
