Peterborough Sports are back in action, big games for Spalding United and Bourne Town plus FA Trophy draw
Peterborough Sports are back in action on Tuesday night when Leiston visit PIMS Park for a Southern Premier Division Central match.
Sports won 2-0 at Leiston last month in their first game following the sacking of Graham Drury as manager. Mark Ducket was in caretaker charge that night and he now has the job on a permanent basis.

Sports haven’t lost a league game under Duckett, but he is not complacent ahead of a clash between the teams in sixth and 17th place.
“It’s a quick turnaround from the first game with Leiston,” Ducket said. “They are a good side with dangerous forward players, but we have trained well and we are looking forward to returning to action.”
Sports haven’t played since a 1-1 draw at Stratford Town on September 17. The city side have rearranged a home game with Alvechurch Town for Tuesday, November 24.
Rock bottom Stamford AFC are at Bishop’s Stortford tomorrow.
Spalding United seek to arrest a run of three National League North games defeats in a row at home to Brackley Town tomorrow (7.45pm). ‘The Tulips’ have slipped to 12th and are just four points clear of the relegation zone. Brackley are 20th.
Spalding have been drawn away to lower level Enfield Town in the second round of the FA Trophy. GIant-killers Bourne Town have a crack at a third Southern Premier Division Central club in a row as they will host third-placed Bromsgrove Sporting after wins against Alvechurch and Banbury United. The ties will take place on Saturday, November 14.
Bourne, who are in the Northern Premier Midlands Division relegation zone and four points from safety, are in league action at Basford United tomorrow. Basford are just two places above Bourne.
There is cup action for March Town and Yaxley tomorrow before Whittlesey Athletic entertain Netherton United in a Thurlow Nunn Division One North game on Wednesday.
