Prolific local strikers Jamie Graham, Dwayne Rankin and Chris Brown have all joined the city club who kick off their competitive season at Crowland tomorrow morning (July 30, 10.30am), a game that features in the popular ‘ground-hopper’ series.

Former Boston United player Jay Mahoney has also signed on for the city side.

“We look a much stronger squad this season,” Ames enthused. “The lads we have picked up are quality.

“Chris, Dwayne and Jamie approached us. I didn’t even know they were available, but they are great signings.

“It’s a real coup for us to get players of that standard on board and I’d be disappointed if we didn’t cause a few upsets in the league this season.”

Graham has played at Spalding United and Deeping Rangers in his illustrious local career. Rankin was at Netherton last season.
