NEW KIT: Launch date is set

The football club will be working closely with shirt sponsors Mick George Ltd to create a memorable occasion with plenty of entertainment for all of the family including special appearances from the Mick George cheerleaders and Mick the Skip.

To celebrate the launch of the new kit, Mick George are offering two young fans (they must be under 13) the chance to join the official Posh home kit launch and model the new kit. The lucky winners will also get to keep the full replica kits after the event.

All you have to do to enter the competition is visit www.mickgeorge.co.uk/kitlaunch with the child you would like to nominate and why you think they deserve to win the prize by July 3. The winners will be announced on July 4.

The entertainment gets underway at 10am at Serpentine Green (outside Boots) with the Mick George cheerleaders, followed by the official kit launch and a question and answer session with first-team manager Grant McCann. There will also be a chance for young fans to win the new Posh home strip on the Mick George Serpentine Green ‘skip challenge’.

Jon Stump, Finance Director at Mick George said: “We’re really excited about the kit launch and have got lots of things planned for fans during the day. Last year we staged a similar event which proved a huge success, the turn-out was fantastic and I’m sure supporters will be equally as eager to attend this year.

“The event is a great way for young fans to engage with their local football club whilst providing a money can’t buy opportunity for two lucky youngsters to be part of the official Posh kit launch and to meet their footballing idols.”
