LOCAL FOOTBALL: Six defeats in a row for Tigers, cup final at Chestnut Avenue
Holbeach United suffered a sixth straight United Counties Premier Division match in a row last night (April 21).
The Tigers have been punished by a hectic fixture schedule, but a young, inexperienced side performed with credit in their 2-1 loss at Rothwell Corinthians.
Paul Newcombe scored a late consolation goal for ‘The Tigers’.
The ChromaSport & Trophies Peterborough League final takes place at Chestnut Avenue tonight (April 22, 7.30pm) as Division Four side AFC Stanground Reserves take on Division Five outfit Whittlesey Athletic C.
