Harry becomes the eighth player to move to Peterborough Sports from Stamford AFC

Midfielder Harry Vince has joined the exodus of former Stamford AFC players to Peterborough Sports.

The 27 year-old has been playing for Sports on trial after ending a five-year association with Stamford. Graham Drury has now signed eight players from his old club. The others are Jordon Cooke, George Hobbins, Leon Lobjoit, Joe Burgess, Jack Duffy, Tom Jackson and Jack Keeble.

Vince said: “I have a lot of trust in Graham. I’ve come back from injury but I feel strong and looking forward to getting started. There’s one aim the manager has relayed to everyone and that’s we want to get the club straight back up to the National League North.”

Drury said: “Harry was my captain at Stamford over the last few seasons. He’s a proper leader and a great lad in the dressing room. He’s a ball playing midfielder with a big heart and gives his all every game.”
