Shiva shines as Newborough clinch a second T20 Cup Final win, and single successes for Peterborough Town Under 15s and Sheikh 11

Shiva Teekasingh returned remarkable T20 bowling figures of 6-16 in four overs to help Newborough Bulls win the Stamford KO Shield for the first time.

Teekasingh’s skills helped Newborough skittle Burghley Park for 87 in the competition final at Ketton Sports CC. Only Burghley captain Pete Foster, who hit a-run-a-ball 36, offered much resistance.

It’s the first success in any Stamford T20 competition for Newborough. They had lost in the final of the Stamford Charity Cup narrowly to Oundle Town the week before.
