CRICKET: Town youngsters do well for Hunts Under 17s
Peterborough Town youngsters Kieran Judd and Connor Parnell were both in good form for Hunts Under 17s this week (July 5 and 6) in a two-day game against Hertfordshire at Barnack.
Judd top-scored in Hunts’ first innings of 202 with 59, which included 10 fours and a six.
Then Parnell took 5-10 off eight overs as Hertfordshire were shot out for 154, giving Hunts a first innings lead of 48.
However, Hunts were then dismissed for 180 in their second innings, Pat Harrington top-scoring this time with 62, and Hertfordshire got home at 231-4 in 33.3 overs to win by six wickets.
