Peterborough Town players continue to hog the headlines for Cambridgeshire in the Minor Counties Championship match against league leaders Northumberland at Jesmond.

On the fist day it was skipper Lewis Bruce firing on all cylinders as he top scored in Cambs first innings with 60 and then took 4-36 with clubmate Joe Dawborn taking 5-51.

Yesterday (August 15) it was the turn of Asim Butt and Dawborn again to take centre stage.

Opener Butt made 47 and Dawborn a swashbuckling 60 not out as Cambs finished on 239-9.#

That means they go into the third and final day with a lead of 271 runs.
