A gr-eight weekend for the PACTRAC club

Peterborough Triathlon Club (PACTRAC recorded eight wins in weekend events.

Youngster Matt Wouldham won the youths race at both the Epping Junior Triathlon and the Kimbolton Junior Triathlon.

Katie Tasker and Connor Walker were also junior winners while Steve Hope, Ros Goatly and Angela Wallis were all age group winners at the Kimbolton Sprint Triathlon and Jonathan Oakey won his age group at the Bedfordshire Sprint Triathlon.

Oakey also won the final race in the club’s midweek Mini-Series at Oundle.

Oakey finished runner-up in the overall series behind Paul Vernon while Christina Cook was crowned ladies champion. She took the trophy by two points from up and coming junior Hannah Bassett.

TriSport Epping Junior Triathlon, Upminster: TS2 Girls - 4 Olivia Corner. TS3 Girls - 1 Katie Tasker. Youth Boys - 1 Matt Wouldham.

Kimbolton Sprint Triathlon (swim 400m, bike 12 miles, run 3 miles): 10 Steve Hope 1:06:03 (age group 1st); 29 Ros Goatly 1:12:48 (age group 1st - 2nd lady overall); 36 Angela Wallis 1:14:37 (age group 1st); 103 Gerald Farrow 1:50:48 (age group 4th).

Bedfordshire Sprint Triathlon, Box End, near Bedford (swim 750 metres, bike 12.5 miles, run 3 miles): 4 Jonathan Oakey 65:07 (age group - 1st); 24 Simon Guerin 74:19 (age group - 8th).
