Peterborough park visitors urged to take care as paths flood

Visitors to Ferry Meadows and the rest of Nene Park in Peterborough are being warned a number of areas of the park are flooded following heavy rain this week.

The park remains open, but some areas are not accessible because of the rain.

A spokesman for the Nene Park Trust said: "If visiting Nene Park today please take care as there is flooding around the back of Gunwade Lake and into Bluebell Wood from Milton Ferry Bridge at Ferry Meadows."
