Heavy rain causes North Bank to be closed between Peterborough and Whittlesey
Due to heavy rain yesterday (Friday) North Bank between Peterborough and Whittlesey has been closed.
Rising water levels on the River Nene means the road has been closed until further notice due to a flood warning being put in place by the Environment Agency.
The road has been closed on several occasions in recent weeks, although some drivers have ignored the closure signs.
