VIDEO: Outrageous driving on the A1 near Grantham

Shocking footage has emerged of some unbelievably dangerous driving on the A1.

This video was taken last week and has already been viewed on public Facebook page ‘Driving like a t**t in Grantham’ more than 160,000 times, and shared nearly 2,000 times.

It has since been confirmed that the footage was shot just past the Downtown superstore exit, on the southbound carriageway.

In response to the video, John Siddle of the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, said: “There are several issues really - although it looks like shocking behaviour from the black car we do not know the circumstances that led him or her to behave like this. There could be several scenarios (none of them warrant this sort of reaction) involving the red car or indeed other cars not seen in this clip.

“Even the person filming this has some questions to answer, is he or she using a mobile phone to film whilst driving? Without the vehicle registration appearing on the film we cannot be sure it is accurate and relates to that vehicle at that time.

“The permutations of what happened are endless and it would be difficult to determine exactly what has happened with any accuracy although they are clearly bad examples of driving that put others, and themselves at risk.”
