UPDATE: Tributes paid to 'loving wife' and 'exceptional auntie' killed in Fenland drain crash

The family of a woman who died when her car entered the river at Sixteen Foot Drain near Christchurch have released a tribute.

Tina Keys, 41, of Pymoor, was driving a black Honda Civic when the vehicle left the road. It is believed the vehicle entered the river between 11.45pm on Saturday (June 4) and 5am on Sunday (June 5).

In a statement her family said: “We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and condolences at this difficult time.

“Tina is a loving wife to Mark, a devoted mother to Mariah, 21, and Declan, 16, second born to Maurice and Maiveen, sister to Karen, Matthew and Thomas. She is an exceptional auntie to her nephews and niece.

“Tina was also looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild to the family, she will leave a big void in the family and in our hearts. We will remember her with joy and nothing but the fondest of memories.”

Officers are continuing to appeal for information to determine the circumstances leading to the vehicle leaving the road. Anyone with information, or who saw the vehicle is asked to contact police on 101.
