Two teenagers in hospital after being stabbed in Peterborough

Two teenagers have been taken to Peterborough City Hospital with stab wounds after a violent incident in Peterborough tonight (October 28).

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds where he is now described as stable and police said a 16-year-old youth was also taken to hospital with a single stab wound.
The incident happened in Bluebell Avenue, Dogsthorpe and police have cordoned off the scene.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “We were called at 6.22pm this evening by the Ambulance Service reporting that an 18-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times in Bluebell Avenue, Dogsthorpe.
“The man has been taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a critical condition, however, he is now described as stable.
“A 16-year-old boy is also being treated at Peterborough City Hospital for a single stab wound and he is stable.
“No arrests have been made at this stage, however inquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 391 of October 28.
Police cordoned off an area of Bluebell Avenue and also closed a section of Welland Road between the Bluebell Avenue and Figtree Walk, with forensic officers at the scene.
