Two collisions blocking Perkins Parkway in Peterborough and A47 at Thorney
Two separate three vehicle collisions blocked the A47 at Thorney and the A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway in Peterborough this morning.
Police were called at 7.40am to the three vehicle crash on the A47 at Thorney where one car has gone into a ditch.
Police attended but no serious injuries were reported.
A second three vehicle crash took place in Peterborough on Frank Perkins Parkway southbound between junction 4 for Stanground and junction 5, Boongate.
Again, no serious injuries were reported.
The crashes have happened during thick fog this morning and the Met Office issued a yellow warning for severe fog.
