Tributes to woman found stabbed to death in Wisbech house
On Sunday (April 24) officers discovered the woman, who has now been formally identified as Laraine Maria Rayner, 52, of Mill Road in Wisbech.
A post mortem carried out by Home Office pathologist, Nat Cary, concluded Ms Rayner died from a stab wound to the neck.

Hide AdMs Rayner had three children. In a statement her family said: “Laraine was a cheerful, happy lady who was always there for other people.
“She would often come out with one line comments that would make people laugh. She will be sadly missed by all the family.”
A 43-year-old man from Wisbech has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in hospital with minor injuries. He is likely to remain in hospital until at least Friday.
