The family had moved from Wittering to Eynesbury recently.

Today the head teacher at Wittering Primary School, Rhys Thrower, paid tribute to Sienna, saying the entire school and community was 'devastated' by what had happened.

He said: ""As a school and village community we were devastated to hear the sad news at the end of last week.

"Sienna was a lovely girl with a huge and beautiful smile. She was always kind and thoughtful to everyone she came into contact with and she will be sorely missed by everyone. Our thoughts and hearts go out to her loving family and friends at this time."

An investigation into the blaze has concluded the most probable cause was an electrical fault in a first-floor bedroom at the property.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a file is in the process of being handed to the coroner where police involvement will end.

The police spokesman said the cause of the fire was not related to Christmas decorations.
