A tree has fallen on the overhead electric wires near Newark North Gate and is delaying trains between Grantham and Doncaster.

This is expected to continue until 8pm.

Services affected include Grand Central between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange/ Hull Trains between London Kings Cross and Hull as well as Virgin Trains East Coast between London Kings Cross and Leeds and also between London Kings Cross and York / Newcastle / Edinburgh.
