Stagecoach announces changes to bus routes to help returning students and workers
The main changes seen in Peterborough will be to the 38 service between Eye and Arthur Mellows Village College, Glinton.
The service is to be renamed the 608, as part of an effort to bring all school journeys across Cambridgeshire together in the 600 series. It will also operate two journeys a day in each direction, as opposed to just one on the old timetable, in order to increase capacity for students.

The changes start from Sunday 30 August, as the region’s largest bus operator prepares to accommodate an increase in passenger numbers as students and more commuters begin to return to school and work.
The network revisions are to help ensure sufficient capacity on some of the busiest routes, in line with
Government safety guidelines.
Michelle Hargreaves, Managing Director of Stagecoach East, said: “We are working hard to enhance our bus networks and provide passengers with a convenient, reliable and safe service as the demand for public transport increases.
