Man dies after fatal crash near Brotherhood Shopping Park in Peterborough

A man has died after a fatal crash near Brotherhood Shopping Park.

The man in his 20s died at the scene in Lincoln Road.

Another man has been taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road remains closed while the police investigation into the collision continues and motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

Officers were called at 1.39am to the crash which involved one car which then caught fire.

Police attended the scene, together with paramedics and firefighters.

The road has now re-opened.
