13 road closures in Peterborough that could affect you

Peterborough City Council has announced a number of road closures later this month to allow roadworks to take place.

The closures, with daytime diversions in place, are expected to be in place from half a day to one week, over an eight week period starting on February 15.

Roads affected are:

Bretton Way, between A47 Soke Parkway and Langley.
A16, between A47 Soke Parkway and B1443 Thorney Road.
Station Road, Ailsworth, off Peterborough Road (no diversion – cul de sac, access to be maintained).

High Street, Eye, between Peterborough Road and Crowland Road/Eyebury Road.
St John’s Street, between Boongate and Vineyard Road.
Main Road, Upton, between A47 and Langley Bush Road.
Bradwell Road, between Harewood Gardens and Atherstone Avenue/Ledbury Road.
Lincoln Road, between Burghley Road and Dogsthorpe Road. 
Orton Busways, between Goldhay Way and Malborne Way.
Underneath Nene Parkway, near Shrewsbury Avenue Busway, between Goldhay Way and Malborne Way.
Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate, between Newcombe Way and Southgate Way.
Empson Road, between Edgerley Drain Road and Newark Road.
Mount Pleasant, between Church Street and North Street.
