Motorists diverted after Bourges Boulevard flooded in Peterborough city centre

A stretch of Bourges Boulevard has been flooded due to a burst water main this morning (Monday, 3rd February).

The stretch by the Park Inn hotel was closed just before 8am. Earlier it remained open as traffic moved slowly through the water.

Bus services have been delayed and diverted as a result.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible, with long delays across the city.
