Man charged with drink driving after crash in Peterborough causes car to flip over

A Peterborough man has been charged with drink driving following a crash in which a car flipped over last night.

Police were called to Atherstone Avenue in Peterborough at 7.50pm last night, Sunday September 2.

Police arrived to find a White Seat Leon on its roof after it was involved in a collision with a red Vauxhall Astra.

Nobody was seriously injured in the collision but the driver of the Astra has been charged with drink driving.

Jordan Plummer, 23, of Eastfield Road in Peterborough will appear at Peterborough Magistrates' Court to face the charge on Wednesay September 19.
