Loose horse causing problems for Peterborough motorists for second day running

A loose horse are causing problems on Peterborough's roads for the second day running.

Horses caused issues for motorists on the A47 yesterday and this morning, Tuesday April 19, are loose on the northbound A1260 Nene Parkway close to its junction with the A47.

Police were called at 8.15am to reports of a horse running loose on Malborne Way in Peterborough.

The horse made its way onto the Nene Parkway and was recovered by one of its owners. The recovery blocked one of the lanes on the northbound carriageway and has caused congestion.
