Broken down train causes travel disruption between Leicester and Peterborough

Trains are currently unable to run from Leicester towards Peterborough because of the train that has stopped between Oakham and Stamford.

Disruption will continue until at least 1pm.

Passengers are able to use tickets on the following lines:

Virgin Trains West Coast between Birmingham New Street and London Euston.

London Midland between Birmingham New Street/Tamworth/Nuneaton and London Euston.

East Midlands Trains between Peterborough and Ely and also between Derby/Leicester and London St Pancras

Great Northern between Ely and Cambridge .

Greater Anglia between Ely and Stansted Airport and also between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport.
