Teddies will bring smiles at NSPCC

The bears will be given to young people who have experienced abuse or neglect and are receiving bespoke treatment from practitioners. Karen Garvie, Peterborough team manager, said: “Toys can bring comfort and a much needed smile to a young person when going through difficult times.

“Some of the children don’t have a lot of things to play with at home, or have come from chaotic backgrounds, so being able to give them a bear of their own is a great thing.
