Street parties to cheer on England

One of the biggest parties in the city for football fans will be at the XL Arena located in Brook Street, Peterborough near The Solstice.

The parties are the brainchild of Simon Baker, who organised similar events at The Sports Lounge for previous World Cups and European Championships.

Hundreds of tickets have already been sold for the first match against Russia. There will also be parties for England’s final group game against Slovakia, and any knockout matches England qualify for.

The parties will include a DJ, live bands and other entertainment, along with food and a merchandise stall.

Tickets cost £5 per person, with a capacity of 1,500 for each event.
