Step back in time with Bugsy Malone

The children of Stamford Pantomime Players have been busy rehearsing for their summer show, which is set to be filled with lots of laughs and plenty of ‘splurge’.

Stepping back in time, the children will don their pin striped suits and trilbies to perform the classic gangster tale of Bugsy Malone at Stamford Corn Exchange in July.

Telling the story of the rise of Bugsy and the battle for power between Fat Sam and Dandy Dan, the children will have fun using ‘splurge guns’ that cover their victims in whipped cream.

The iconic custard-firing guns are at the heart of Bugsy Malone, Alan Parker’s much-loved 1976 film musical which starred Jodie Foster and an all-child cast.

Tickets are on sale for £9.50 for adults and £7.50 for children. There will be performances on Thursday, July 2, Friday, July 3 (both at 7pm) and one on Saturday, July 4 at 1pm.
