SPALDING SHOOTING: Press conference at 4pm

Police have said they will be holding a press conference at 4pm today following the incident which resulted in three fatalities in Spalding this morning.

The location of the press conference is yet to be confirmed, but it is expected that more details will be revealed about the incident near the Castle Sports Complex in which a mother and daughter and another man were killed in a firearms incident.

Police have also said that the number of helicopters around the area at the moment belong to news agencies and not Lincolnshire Police.
