Retired greyhounds need loving new homes

The Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust is currently looking to home a number of retired greyhounds.

The local charity will be in Stamford Town Centre on Saturday (May 21) with some of the retired greyhounds who are looking for homes.

Greyhounds usually retire aged around four or five-years-old and can live to around 12 to 14 years.

They are an incredibly laid back pet and will suit most home situations. Some greyhounds will even live with cats.

Kevin Stow from the Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust said: “If people want to come along and fuss the greyhounds we’d be delighted to chat to them and answer any questions they may have.”
