Peterborough election results: Conservatives retain East ward

The Conservatives have retained their seat on East ward.

Jackie Allen won the seat vacated by Azher Iqbal by 26 votes from former Labour councillor Nick Thulbourn.

The result means East ward remains represented by two Labour and one Conservative councillor.

Result:

Jackie Allen (Conservative) - 1,055

Stuart Clark (Lib Dem) - 125

Stacey Collins (Green) - 113

Nick Thulbourn (Labour) - 1.029.

Turnout: 32.84%
