Public can question Peterborough United co-owner and council deputy over city plans

The Zoom Q&A will come a week after the two parties exchanged contracts over the club’s London Road ground.

Under the arrangement London Road Peterborough Properties Ltd - which is owned by Posh co-owners Darragh MacAnthony, Jason Neale and Stewart Thompson - have paid £5.265 million for the Weston Homes Stadium, Allia Future Business Centre and 12 car parking spaces, with the council holding onto much of the surrounding land it bought as part of the original deal, including the London Road car park.

The two parties have also been in dialogue over Posh’s plans to move to a new stadium on the Embankment.

Now, Mr Thompson and council deputy leader Cllr Wayne Fitzgerald will answer questions from the public ovian Zoom on Wednesday, April 7.

The pair will use the interview to discuss their plans for the city moving forward, including the new stadium and any concerns residents have.
